Only tips I can give to foreign tourists visiting Cuzco and other large cities in my country are: first, you must never travel along unknown places without a local guide (a localyte)who really recognize risky areas to be; the next is you must always keep an eye on your belongings (your travel bags, digital video cameras or photo cameras are in the eye of pickpocketers everywhere); never take a taxi being offered by its driver outside of restaurants, hotels, ATM's, bank agencies; you must choose your own cab and analize the drivers face and attitudes and go on only if there is nothing that disturbs you.
