  • If the sound of steel drums makes your pulse pound, check out the Palm Beach Club located in what was Dread N'Ire in Deep Ellum. Inside you will find mirrors, murals of Bob Marley, painted parrots and palm trees mixed with locals and tourists out for a good time. Owners Joe and Augustine Ekukpe bought the club with the intention of raising the standard of reggae in Dallas and it seems they have succeeded. DJ Nassim spins tunes on the weekends, and there is live reggae on Saturdays. There are also occasional hip-hop shows. Beer and mixed drinks are available.
