The snow white table cloths contrast sharply with the rustic building and the host and wait staff is well trained. The recipient of an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator in 1998, Newport's offers special wines including Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and Reisling. Appetizers are a meal in themselves. If you're feeling a little adventurous, try the Seafood Gapacho Cocktail. But save room for dinner—the offerings from the mesquite-fired grill are incredible—the Bacon Wrapped Scallops will melt in your mouth.
