Hontoon Island Campground

Description:

• Located a short distance from the ranger station / docking complex, the campground is found along Timucuan Trail Road with a spur trail leading to the group campground. The main campground has only 12 sites, each with picnic table and grill. Drinking water, showers, and restrooms are centrally located. There is no electric at this campground. Immediate access to hiking trails and biking roads ease park exploration. Campsites may be reserved up to 11 months in advance by calling the park office. The park does accept American Express.
