Save your appetite for the Wienermobile Cafe inside the museum.

  • Description:

    • The Henry Ford Museum is way more than just a mere building that houses old stuff; the preservation complex spans over nine acres, including a massive open-floor museum and an outdoor village experience. The museum offers a historical perspective of the American Industrial Revolution by showcasing the machinery, vehicles and artifacts, but the demonstration does end there. The Home Arts Exhibit displays kitchens from different eras to show how innovations in technology have changed our lives. Imagine a neighborhood where Thomas Edison, the Wright brothers and Henry Ford all lived - that's Greenfield Village. The village is a living museum, complete with homes and shops filled with costumed inhabitants working, living and explaining their lives to people passing through.
