- If you love nature and culture, this is the place to be in Macedonia. The firs Balkan lynx (a subspecies only present in this area) has just been caught and analyzed, which makes it an even more exciting place to be at this time. Mavrovo national park is rich with many villages with, all filled with people raised in different life styles, and they are just a few kilometers away... You have too see it for yourself, to be aware of the beauty Mavrovo national park has to offer!
