Description:
- Rock Island is a solid and, some say, legendary staple of nightlife in Denver. The club, located in a warehouse covered with giant bug artwork, is one of the few nightspots left over from LoDo's seedier days. Although the surrounding neighborhood is a bit more upscale, you will still find an interesting assortment of "where-do-they-come-from" characters inside the club. On Saturdays, the 16 and over crowd floods the joint until 11:30p. After that, it is 18 and over. Other nights feature diverse offerings from local live music, theater and performance art, to fetish theme nights.
