Description:

  • To the John Walters House Bed and Breakfast, a red brick 1888 Italianate Mansion. Step back 120 years into Colorado's past, and enjoy the Victorian era in our Denver, CO inn accommodations. Today the John Walters Mansion has been restored to the way it was in the 1880's, and is currently a modest guest house with accommodations of four elegant bedrooms, two baths, and a small pantry. On the first floor there is a small salon, library and dining room. Houseguests are encouraged to explore the mansion and neighborhood, where they will find a small golf course, natural history museum, zoo and park with stocked lake. The John Walters House is within ten minutes of downtown Denver, Colorado and Cherry Creek Shopping Center. Gambling, skiing, and mountain enthusiasts will find shuttle transportation conveniently available. Denver has developed many new attractions in the central area to attract tourists and travelers. Some sports enthusiasts may never leave Denver to enjoy football, baseball, hockey, or basketball games. A new Elitches amusement park and world-class aquarium are just newly finished. Denver has something for everyone.
