- It's safe to say that Hamburger Mary's is Denver's best hamburger joint/gay bar. Even if there was a bit of competition for that title, most would put odds on Hamburger Mary's coming out on top. This place isn't just for the LGBT community, however – the burgers are good enough that a lot of the clientele is just here for the food. The flagship item would be the Double D's Burger, which contrary to its name is actually a pair of half-pounders. The bar also hosts regular events that are exactly what they sound like such as Drag Queen Bingo. Cheap drinks abound during happy hour and after due to daily specials.
