• The Hard Rock in Denver serves the same purpose of every Hard Rock around the world – a resting place for the burned-out traveler who wants a familiar cheeseburger or a rack of ribs. It's right in the middle of downtown, so those in search of one of the ubiquitous t-shirts won't have to go too far in search of one.  This particular branch does have its fair share of interesting memorabilia for the rock 'n roll aficionado, ranging from standard far such as costumes worn by Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, and Jimi Hendrix to more peculiar items like a pamphlet disputing some of Paul McCartney's expenses from a trip to Hamburg and a typewriter that deceased gonzo journalist (and Colorado resident) Hunter S. Thompson both used and shot.
