• While its entirely plausible that the H in Hburger simply stands for "ham," its helpful to think of it as "hybrid." That is, hybrid in the sense that Hburger's reason of being seems to be to occupy an entirely theoretical midpoint between the 1950s and today. The décor is a clean and monochromatic update of the classic '50s diner. The ingredients used are aimed more towards streamlining the classic elements of a good burger (meat, cheese, and a few good veggies) rather than radically reinventing the whole meal. That said, they do have variety in the form of turkey and lamb burgers, although the latter is more accurately a reinvention of a Greek gyro than a burger. Great place to grab a bite around the 16th Street Mall.
