Hot Cakes - Denver

  • Description:

    • Located in the heart of the uptown hospital district, Hot Cakes is one of Denver's hottest spots for breakfast and lunch. Weekends can be crowded so pick up a newspaper and be prepared to wait for a table. The buttermilk chocolate chip pancakes smothered in whipped cream are so decadent, diners take reassurance in knowing that an emergency room is just across the street. For the healthier crowd there are fruit topped pancakes and a variety of omelet creations, as well as a tasty selection of bagel sandwiches.

    • I love this place. The staff is friendly, the food is great. We were visiting family at Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital and this is just a few blocks from there.
