Description:
- If you cannot afford a trip to Morocco, just drop into Mataam Fez. Sit on the floor and eat your food with rose water freshened fingers. And if you do not think chicken and sugar go together, you will think again when you try the B'stella: a pastry that combines chicken, almonds, cinnamon and sugar in a crunchy wrap of phyllo dough. Be sure to order tea after the meal just from the pure "how-do-they-do-that" standpoint of watching the waiters pour into the cups from several feet up without spilling. Nightly belly dancers add to the authentic atmosphere. Open daily 5:30pm onwards.
