- The Denver Art Museum exhibits the taste of "new American regional cooking" with its restaurant, Palettes, open for dinner on Wednesdays only. The menu focuses on lighter meals, but offers a wide variety of inventive dishes. The museum digs make for a very chic atmosphere, as does the bright, black and white room with metal accents. The rock shrimp stuffed grouper is highly recommended. The portions could be considered skimpy, so be forewarned if you are coming with a raging appetite.
