- Cuisines: American, Hamburgers
NileGuide Expert tip:
The Hornet is one of two places in Denver to catch a soccer match and is way more conveniently located than its rival The British Bulldog if you find yourself south of downtown.
Description:
- Though this place used to feature open jam sessions for jazz musicians, today the bar eschews live music for a jukebox, and the crowd is decidedly more trendy and clothing conscious. The menu serves up standard American fare. The blackened catfish is easily the highlight, served with a Cajun spice that accents the fish surprisingly well, without overpowering it. The fish and chips are a little greasy; the burgers are best when ordered medium-rare.
