Description:
- Offering almost 7,000 yards of challenging play, Coal Creek Golf Course stretches through a creek bed shadowed by towering cottonwoods, and across the high desert just south of Boulder. Dick Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1990 to rave reviews. Although the course is relatively open, 12 holes feature tough water hazards. The signature 16 hole is a short 4 par with a monster 100-foot drop to the tee. Non-residents need to make reservations three days in advance.
