Description:

  • Over 1,000 acres of land can become your exploring grounds for the day when you visit this park, only 20 miles south of Denver. Take route I-25 to the Castle Pines exit and drive three miles to the park. Once there, drive on the road that cuts through the park to experience the preservation area for 50 buffalo. You might also see elk, deer, antelope and coyotes. The views of the mountains are magnificent. Park the car when the mood moves you, enjoy the views, and picnic at one of the designated locations. This is a perfect place for a quiet day trip.
