What's the difference between downtown Denver and "lower downtown"? More than just geography. Life in LoDo (north of Larimer Street) is a bit edgier than downtown: more bars and clubs than restaurants, more independent shops than chain stores. In 2006, the cast of MTV's "The Real World" stayed in LoDo and visited nightclubs in the immediate area, documented on the series.
