- For more than ten years now, the Shady Grove Picnic Series has been providing open-air folk concerts for the Denver community June through August. Located in Four Mile Historic Park, along the banks of Cherry Creek in a grove of shade trees, it is the perfect environment to sprawl out on a blanket with a picnic dinner and watch the summer sun set over the Rockies. A different nationally acclaimed folk artist performs each week. The shows are great for families.
