The Question
Public Question Asked by Zain Iqbal about Denver
Is it easy to get tickets for the Colorado Rockies on game day instead of ordering them ahead? How about on weekends?

This depends on several factors.
Who are they playing. How hot are the Rockies. Right now they are hot so tickets might be scarce. Usually you have to stand at the ticket office early in the day to get them if it is suppose to be a good game. I have always found scalpers who have tickets and they do not charge over the face value( at least not when I asked) The short answer is yes, there are usually tickets, they may not be the best but they are available.

It can be. To get the best prices for the seats you want, ordering ahead is usually best. However, there are always people selling tickets outside Coors Field on Game day if you just want to go on impluse. Most do not charge above face value. "Hot" games with rival teams are going to be harder to get ahold of. "Rockpile" or the very cheapest tickets for the poorest seats, usually sell out, but are often available right up to game day. In reality, there are very few "bad" seats at Coors Field, though. It is usually easier to get late tickets for afternoon games during the week, as not everyone can call in sick to work to go to a Rockies game.
