Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church

• Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church was organized in 1914 by Elder Burkett, Deacon Rubin Washington, Deacon Jacob Hodges and Mother Alice Peek. Today, Greater Mount Olive sanctuary has a seating capacity of 1000, a banquet and a fellowship hall that seats 200 and more as well as a kitchen and conference room. A parsonage houses the Pastor and his first family and there is also a picnic park at 20605 Fayette on 5 acres of land. They also have a special Children's church and bible study classes. They have four choir groups in their church and hold rehearsals every Tuesday and whoever wants can join them.
