- Take a road trip from Beirut, drive to Keserwan area direction. Reach harrisa and drive up mountains until you reach Faraya village. The drive will take about 1 hour and a half depending on the traffic in Beirut. When you reach the Faraya round about drive a bit more up like 4 minutes and ask where is the entrance of Shabrouhh Dam. There must be a sign to show you how to enter there. Park you car and go toward the dam to see the nice view. during summer time, the water will be low, and the breeze will be cool up there. If you go during winter, you might not be able to enter, since the water level will be high. take some pictures at the top of the dam, and sit and relax by the cool breeze. You can continue your trip up to Kfardebian for skiing in winter, or to Faqra to see the water fall, the ruins and the non-artificial bridge.
