The Contemporary's newest restaurant (opened in 2008) lures diners with a modern but welcoming atmosphere and seasonal menus of fresh and healthy American fare accented with flavors from around the world. Dishes are prepared with local and regional products whenever possible, and entrees might include whole wheat linguine with clams, rock shrimp and fresh thyme in a chunky tomato broth; or a scrumptious braised lamb shank smothered in a bulgur lentil stew and red-wine sauce. You'll also find a selection of organic beers and trendy cocktails, including an antioxidant cosmo (with wild berry vodka, black raspberry liqueur, açai juice with agave, lychee, aloe juice, and freshly squeezed lemon juice), as well as an extensive and innovative wine list from around the globe (though, quirkily, they all have screw caps).
