- Scheduled in October each year, this annual unofficial celebration draws increasingly large crowds, many of whom wear red for the event. Event organizers strive to make "the happiest place on earth" the "gayest place on earth," at least for the duration of the weekend. The event begins with a dance party at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen® in Downtown Disney® on Friday. Saturday is spent at Disneyland, with Sunday devoted to the California Adventure theme park.
