• There are no vegetarian restaurants in Rio San Juan, however some places offer more possibilities than others. Esterelle (Calle Duarte) will give you rice, plantains, eggs, salad and at lunch time sometimes has a special vegetable dish. Its the same at La Casona (Calle Duarte) but Esterelle has a responsive kitchen and may cook something to order. Other than this its pretty dire - you could try buying veg and asking a restaurant to make a stir fry - Eserelle or 1st on the left down Calle Bellini and just before the end there a semi food stall. Angella may cook something special from the veg stalls just up the road.
