• Busy Dubai Marina bar with al fresco seating and happy hours Buy one selected drink and get one free Timings: Daily 6pm-7.30pm Though you'll be jostling for space at the bar and on the terrace on Thursdays, you'll find it far less manic and much easier to get a table during the rest of the week. While women, it seems, are free to wear whatever they please, boys should leave the flip flops at home, as they'll find themselves turned away for attempting to place an exposed toe over the threshold. On the upside, there's a daily happy hour (buy one, get one free) from 6pm until 7.30pm, and a range of bar snacks, such as dim sum, potato wedges, olives and feta, for a relatively reasonable Dhs30 a pop – though we do wish they'd shake up the menu once in a while.
