One of a pair of silver high-rises that for a decade were the tallest in Dubai, the iconic Emirates Towers is among the world's top business hotels. High-speed elevators dash up and down the 56-floor building with its buzzing atrium lobby and reflective glass windows, and those who travel to the top will find Vu's restaurant and bar, which has an unbeatable view of the city. Most of the spacious guest rooms also offer stunning views, and while their decor is not as fashionable as when the hotel opened in 2000, the rooms still offer high-tech luxury. A dedicated women's floor features an all-female staff, amenities tailored for women travelers, and yoga mats and instruction videos. Executive-level rooms have flatscreen TVs, DVD players, and CD and iPod interfaces. The top male spa in the region lies in the hotel, wonderful for de-stressing and rejuvenating after a long trip. The hotel staff is outstanding, treating all guests like VIPs (of which there are many). Emirates Towers connects to the Boulevard shopping arcade, with luxury shops and some of the city's top restaurants and bars. Guests staying here have free access to Wild Wadi water park, and can easily arrange to visit other Jumeirah Group hotels.
