  • The Dusit Dubai's signature restaurant is in many ways the symbol of the hotel -- elegant, graceful, and refined. The regal 24th-floor dining room, which sits adjacent to the champagne lounge, is decorated in dark woods with imperial pillars and moldings and large windows overlooking the rapidly expanding skyline. Diners can choose Royal Thai cuisine from the a la carte or set-course menus, and my strong recommendation is that you opt for the latter. Thais will tell you that the Tom Yam Gung (hot prawn soup seasoned with lime, lemon grass, and chili) is not to be missed, and irresistible main courses include the sweet-and-sour fish, braised beef in mild peanut curry, green curry, and assorted fried vegetables in oyster sauce. This place is worth dressing up for, and definitely a spot to impress a date. The gracious service is among the best you'll find in Dubai.
