• Indisputably Dubai's best Moroccan restaurant, Tagine lies in the spectacular One&Only Royal Mirage. The exotic dining room is pure Moroccan, with an incense-filled, candlelit atmosphere as enchanting as any you'll find in Dubai. Come ready to sink into one of the satin cushions and stay hypnotically planted for the evening. The signature dish is couscous Bidaoui, steamed semolina served with tender lamb or chicken and garnished with fresh cooked vegetables. My favorite is the couscous fassia, a giant platter topped with lamb or chicken and sweet raisins, sweet onions, and honey. Equally delicious are the lamb kofta and the mixed kebab with a variety of tender meats. If you can possibly find any more room, top off your meal with an assortment of Moroccan pastries baked with almond. Tagine is as much about sharing a memorable experience as about the food, with live music offered most nights. When you're finished, take a stroll through the stunning hotel grounds.
