• Gordon Ramsay's contemporary European restaurant helped bring credibility to Dubai's dining scene, and remains one of the city's top culinary choices. Ramsay shares the title of holding the most Michelin stars of any chef, now with 12 at various restaurants around the globe. In Dubai, he has created an elegant dining space characterized by white minimalist decor; service is refined and very attentive. The excellent dishes vary, but among favorites typically offered are ravioli with Scottish lobster and salmon as a starter, and slow-cooked pork belly with lentils, black pudding, and pan-fried foie gras as a main dish. For dessert, choose the smooth crème brûlée or the tart tatin for two, with apples and cinnamon ice cream. A remarkable seven-course tasting menu is available with or without matching wines. If the food quality seems a cut above that at Dubai's other fine restaurants, it's because Ramsay uses the finest produce available locally and flies in fresh ingredients from around the world.
