• The majority of the shops here sell fabric to be made into anything from saris to a copy of your favourite frock. Most of the stores will offer to make up your creations, but you can just as easily purchase some fabric to take to a different tailor, which will probably be cheaper. Two yards of quality cloth, enough to be fashioned into a flamboyant shirt, will set you back around Dhs50. The rest of the shops either peddle ready-made fashions or expensive perfumes and accessories.
