Jumeirah Beach Park

Description:

• Spanning 1km ( 3/4 miles) of coastline in the Jumeirah residential area, this is the city's best public beach. You can rent a lounge chair and umbrella, play beach volleyball, grab an ice cream or snack, or even bring your own food to barbecue. In addition to sand and sea, there's a grassy area with landscaped gardens and a playground. The beach park has lifeguards on duty from 8am until sunset, after which swimming is not allowed. Mondays are exclusively for women and children.
