• Dubai is home to a large Indian immigrant community, who brought their textiles and tailoring along with them. The textile souk carries colorful fabrics from various countries, which can all be fashioned into traditional dress (saris and tunics) or basics (dress shirts and pants). The number of choices, such as the Gold Souk, can seem overwhelming, but if you have a few days, you can walk away with some affordable fit-for-you pieces.
