Description:
This is one of my favorite places in Dubai, a refreshing oasis in the midst of a scorched if glitzy and developed desert. Themed around the legend of Wild Wadi, including the adventures of Juha and Sinbad, the water park features 30 thrilling rides and attractions that are equally fun for kids and adults. Among them are wild rapid rides, a lazy river, a wave pool for body-boarding and surfing, and Jumeirah Sceirah -- the terrifyingly fun 33m-high (108-ft.) monster ride that drops you at 80kmph (50 mph) to the earth below. There are a number of games for kids, two fast-food restaurants, lockers, and VIP cabanas for adults available for a small fortune. Wild Wadi is located next to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
