    • In 1972 Eugene Lambert set the ball rolling for children's theatre by establishing the Lambert Puppet Theatre. His journey began early as he made his on dummy called, Frankie that developed in Finnegan. He took the act to many places including Australia and Japan. Many renowned pieces of work have been reproduced for children, some names include; Alice in Wonderland and works by Oscar Wilde and W.B Yeats. The theatre has a seating arrangement of around 250 people and there is a coffee shop as well. The museum of puppetry is also in the same premises and is one of its kind in Ireland.
