  • While Dublin has lots of options for drinking, large scale nightclubs that are common in Europe are few and far between here. The drinking hours also don't help this issue. Late bars close at the same time as nightclubs and generally do not charge an entrance fee they also often have DJ's spining or live music on offer. We do get some quite big DJ names in Dublin so it is worth checking out the listings to see what's on. There is a dress code in most nightclubs which generally means no running shoes or scruffy attire. The bouncers at the door may refuse you entry if you don't look the part. Most Dubs will dress up quite a bit especially the girls, wearing heels with a skirt or dress and the boys with a smart shirt and trousers or jeans. The entry fee can range from 5-20 euro depending on the night and who is spinning.
