Blooms Hotel is located approximately six miles from Dublin Airport and within walking distance from Trinity College, Christchurch, the shopping areas of Grafton and Henry Street. The hotel takes its name from the lead character, Leopold Bloom, in James Joyce's Ulysses. Temple Bar itself is home to myriad shops, bars, and restaurants.
