If you mean traditional Irish music bars there are surprisingly few pubs that hold regular traditional music sessions. You could try the Cobblestone in Smithfield, O'Donoghues on Merrion Row, or downstairs in The Stag's Head at weekends.

For other traditional Irish/Dublin bars there are plenty - McDaid's on Harry St., Kehoe's on Sth Anne St., Mulligans on Poolbeg St., O'Neills on Suffolk St., The Long Hall on George's St., and The Flowing Tide on Lwr Abbey St. to name a few.

In my opinion you should stay away from Temple Bar - overpriced and overrated.

Cobblestone in Smithfield will be the best choice. But you can go to Temple Bar at Gogarty :) Nice one

Keoghs, Black Horse, O'Donaghues, there are numerous. If you want dancing, Argylle Hotel off O'Connell Street.

Celt Pub, famous for its fantastic atmosphere and traditional Irish music every night. Located right next door to the guesthouse, you won’t have to travel far at the end of the night to get to your cosy bed.

Your accommodation is a short walk from Temple Bar’s numerous restaurants and pubs, you'll be sure to enjoy all that the Irish culture has to offer.
