how will i get there as a foot passenger from UK?

There are 3 ways of getting over as a foot passenger. Turn up at Holyhead and buy a ticket, Rail and sail which is what my daughter does or bus and sail.
Irish ferries rail and sail can be sorted through Seat61, Stena who I use can be booked direct on line, Travel is from any UK mainline station to Holyhead, Ferry to Dublin Port and Bus to Busárus Dublin's main Bus Eireann depot.
