Public Question Asked by Andrea about Dublin

It's my 30th birthday trip and my girlfriends and I will want to go dancing at least one night. What are the happening "clubs"/nightlife?

Trip will be February 16th to 21st (next weekend), and two of us ladies are single. Love whiskey and wine, especially. :) Also, we are staying off Talbot street and would like the easiest/cheapest transportation.

Ok first of all congratulations on the big 30!

NIGHTLIFE: Check out the listings for Twisted Pepper and the Academy for clubs that are nearby and for some funky hipster vibes hop on the Luas to Smithfield and head first to the Dice Bar (it closes earlier) then walk around the corner to SinÉ for some dancing and good vibes.

WHISKEY: You have got to take a trip to the Jameson Distillery for a Whiskey tasting experience. http://www.nileguide.com/destination/dublin/things-to-do/old-jameson-distillery/350356

WINE: Check out the Ely wine Bar - http://www.nileguide.com/destination/dublin/bars-and-clubs/ely-winebar/349718 or Pintxos tapas bar in Eustace St. Temple bar.

TRANSPORTATION: Walking is by far the cheapest and easiest way to get around Dublin City Centre. You can also take the Luas (tram) to Busaras or Connolly station depending on your exact location.
