This restaurant offers an interesting take on dining out, offering a more hands-on approach: you don't actually have to do your own cooking, but customers choose the individual ingredients for a meal. Menu suggestion cards are provided, so don't get too nervous. You can put together any combination of meat or seafood, sauces, spices and vegetables.

  • Zaytoon Restaurant

    • Location:

    • Parliament Street
    • Map

    Description:

Great place to grab a quick bite. It is conveniently located in the bustling Temple Bar area from which you can launch or end your night out. On the menu you will find the usual standard fare such as Chicken Shish, doners and chips as well as the more exotic dishes like barg, chollo or kubideh. The decor is basic, a slight step up from a fast food take away but not quite a cozy cafe. However, it is all about the tasty food and scrumptious dribbling sauce that goes all over your face and makes you lick your fingers everytime!

  • El Bahia

    Description:

There are four individually decorated rooms in the restaurant, each room has its own authentic style you can easily find yourself believing you have been transported into the middle of Morocco. Enjoy lots of cous cous, mezza and traditional tagines as well as lots of fish and vegetarian options. Only Moroccan music is played and a belly dancer performs on occasion. Highly recomended for groups.

The Chameleon is down-to-earth and always good fun. This two-storey restaurant has a tiny ground-floor, but don't be misled, two more floors await. The top floor has low opium-style seating on cushions, and is a great location for getting an intimate group of people together. The food is generally excellent, and your best bet is to get a variety of dishes and dive in.
