Top 10:

Off the Beaten Path Nightlife in Dusseldorf

  • The Best of NileGuide
  • Dusseldorf is one of those places where the city likes to drink, and when the locals do get out to the bars to quaff down a couple or six pints of Alt, it turns into one of those cliché "German Drunk" moments. Dusseldorf nightlife is alive, and because they've had a traditional beer brewed in their style for the last couple hundred years, they also know how to have some fun, too. A lot of fun can be had at Nachtresidenz. The Nachtresidenz is one of the most impressive and overwhelming locations in Europe. The original architecture from the Residenz Theatre out of the early 1920s was kept in most parts and some modern urban styles were added. This creates an exclusive and unique ambiance for an unforgettable night.

One thing is for sure, there is no shortage of bars in Dusseldorf. However, Tir na nOg stands out. Tir na nOg is an authentic Irish pub with everything you could wish for -- from the green cloverleaf to genuine Guinness. If you're Irish then you'll feel right at home; and if you're not, it definitely makes you want to visit the Green Island. The cozy interior consists of a fire place, rustic wooden tiles and a bar with all the booze you could wish for.

Cheap drinks, excellent music, and a crowd that can't get enough of the groove are some of the things that you can expect to find at the Monkey's Club. If you are looking for a place to party, this is where the buck ought to stop. Visit this place to check out some of the grooviest DJ sets in town. The Monkey's Club is a great club to visit if you are looking for a place to let go of your inhibitions, and dance the night away. If you're up for some serious partying, Dusseldorf nightlife will show you how it's done.
