Grafenberger Wald

Description:

  • With its tree-covered hills and lush meadows, Grafenberger Forest is the perfect spot for a long, relaxing walk. It is also great for kids: the deer park contains a host of different species of deer and the forestry school offers an insight into the region's flora and fauna. Dusseldorf's race track, which is regarded as the prettiest in Germany, is situated on the edge of the forest. The Forestry school is open 9am-5pm daily and admission is free.
