Lantz´scher Park

Description:

  • On the orders of Lantz, the then lord of the manor, an English garden park was created in 1860 and named after him. It is situated on the edge of the Lohausen district not far from the Rhine. The big contemporary sculptures, whose combination with the very old trees give a very bizarre effect, are charming for visitors to this splendid old park. The entire park as well as the adjoining Deichvorland (land above mean high water mark on the seaward side of a dike), is an ideal place for extended walks.
