• With both Tynecastle and Murrayfield Stadium nearby, it isn't surprising that sport is on everyone's lips in this great pub. A friendly hotchpotch of people frequent the place and on matchdays it is packed with Jambos, the fans of Heart of Midlothian FC. It is also called the Diggers as it is frequented by gravediggers from the nearby cemetery. There's a good selection of standard beers and a superb pint of McEwan's to sample. The food served is of the traditional variety, more on the lines of pies and stovies.
