Description:

  • One of the most sophisticated hotels in Edinburgh, the Scotsman Hotel (a baronial mason) once housed the city's main newspaper - you guessed it - The Scotsman. The building has now been thoroughly modernized, although during renovation the staff were careful not to eradicate the stunning wooden paneled reception room that is now the bar and brasserie. The lower ground floor houses a state of the art gym. Rooms boast bathrooms with marble vanities, heated towel rails and separate baths and showers.
