- If you love music of any kind, then Whistle Binkies is the place to go to. Live entertainment is offered every evening featuring singers and bands of all kinds. Mondays and Tuesdays are basically talent nights where who can sing can just walk up to the stage to start singing. A solo singer or a newly formed or breaking band can get their act together on Tuesday. Everyday you can also find original artists and cover bands. Special events are held here at regular intervals to show case local musicians. If you love music and don't mind whether it is a garage band or a group of folk singers, then you will love the Whistle Binkies.

Used to go here all the time when I lived in Edinburgh. Its changed a hell of a lot but still puts on loads of really good live music- a lot of fun during the festival.
