- John L. Haar Theatre, located in the Grant MacEwan University, renders a creative space for the University students as also showcases some very exclusive talent. The theatre stages some of the most well drafted plays and musical events by renowned artists as well as amateurs. However, the place is chiefly used for training where students are familiarized to different aspects of "stage performances" right from acting to sound technique and production. The place seats only about 350 odd people, so you will have to book your seats well in advance. Check the website to get the schedule of the plays being stage here.
