You can check out Edmonton's top entertainment venue, the Jubilee Auditorium. Opened in 1955 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Alberta, Jubilee Auditorium continues to host top-quality stars, events, and royalty. It is located next to the University of Alberta, just across the river from downtown Edmonton. It is hard to miss, since it is located on a 13-acre site and includes 4 million square feet of entertainment, reception, and conference space.

    For entertainment from around the globe, you can't miss with the Blue Chair Café. If you want to travel the whole world without moving, you can do so at the Blue Chair. With its international cuisine, delicious drinks from around the globe, and artists that perform before you, this place is sure to take you on a trip of a lifetime. The live entertainment is varied and rich in culture, and streams across genres like folk, rock, nu-jazz, pop, alternative, acoustic, Latin, Celtic, experimental, and other fantastic sounds.

    But if you really prefer to dance the night away, then the New City Likwid Lounge is the place to be. With the perfect combination of cool dance tracks, a vibrant atmosphere, and a crowd that knows how to party, the Likwid Lounge is the ideal place to chill out with buddies, meet new people, or simply, yes, dance the night away. On certain nights the Likwid Lounge also features live music performances and theme nights. Edmonton nightlife might not be pulsating, but Edmonton nights need not necessarily be boring.
