La Boheme - Edmonton

  • Description:

    • La Bohème consists of two small, lace-curtained dining rooms in a historic building northeast of downtown (at the turn of the 20th century, this structure was a luxury apartment building -- the upper floors are now available as B&B accommodations). The cuisine is French, and so is the wine, with the accent on Rhône Valley vintages. There's a wide selection of appetizers and light dishes, including a number of good salads. The entrees are hearty, classically French preparations of lamb, chicken, and seafood; there's also a five-course table d'hôte menu for C$50. The restaurant also features daily vegetarian entrees. Desserts are outstanding.
